Fitness Equipment, the Racket Store and the Fitness Exercise Surround

Fitness exercise does not have to mean fitness equipment in the traditional sense. The Racket Store is a good example of this. Exercise Equipment in the traditional sense could mean the treadmill, cross trainer, exercise bike, waterrower, multi gym or a similar fitness exercise machine. The Racket Store would incorporate the tennis racket, badminton racket and the squash racket. So, surely tennis, badminton and squash rackets are pieces of fitness equipment that induce fitness exercise? Because tennis, badminton and squash are thoughtas games, hobbies and recreation we seem to overlook the fitness exercise aspect. The Racket belongs in the fitness equipment store but not in the traditional sense of the word!

If you look at the calorie zapping properties of the racket sports you will see they are up there with the best of the fitness equipment. A high-tempo game of squash is a good example of a top fitness exercise (game!). The Racket Store promotes fitness exercise and family fun. Depending on your physical fitness level, intentions and commitments the racket store has a pieceof fitness equipment for you. You do not have to have the top of the range pro tennis racket, pro badminton racket or pro squash racket unless you are in that category. Valuable fitness exercise can come from the beginner, junior Wilson Federer racket, Murray Head Microgel or Nadal Babolat racket and everything in-between.

Fitness equipment fun for the family, a knock-around with your friends, high-intensity training or a proper match, the options are open. The Racket Store offers fitness exercise with tennis, badminton and squash promoting health, sociability and fun. One of the reasons traditional fitness equipment fails to inspire certain people is because of thelabels attached to it e.g. hard work, boring, monotonous, vain etc. The Racket Store will have to be careful not to label sports rackets as fitness equipment; we do not want to lose the recreational fun part! Ok, so the racket sports are not a traditional piece of fitness equipment but they doproduce a very good fitness exercise workout. The Racket Store could possibly come under the recreational games category but does it not fit in the fitness equipment mouldalso? The choice is yours...
